Jeffrey Eugene Thomas passed away in Prescott Valley, Ariz., on Oct. 20, 2009, at the young age of 35. Jeffrey was born in Indio, Calif., on March 25, 1974.

He graduated from Prescott High School in 1994. He attended High-Tech Institute and graduated with a computer science degree.

He married Stacie and they had their first son, Jacob Thomas, on March 23, 1997. His second son, Anakin Thomas, was born on July 1, 2002. His family relocated to Prescott Valley, which has been his residence for over five years. Spending time with family was one of his greatest joys. He loved cooking the Thanksgiving turkey for his family gatherings. He loved techno music and was an avid video gamer. Jeffrey was always the jokester of the family and had a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss his smile and his upbeat laugh.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Stacie; two sons, Jacob and Anakin; father James Thomas and step-mother Qing; mother Patricia Meza and step-father Alfonso Meza; sister Trisha Thomas; and niece Scentury; stepbrothers Zhi and Philip; stepsisters Beverly and Paula, and their families; grandmothers Anna Thomas of Prescott, Ariz., and Georgette Holesapple of Millbrea, Calif.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the Unity Church of Prescott, 145 S. Arizona Ave., Prescott, Ariz. Speaker will be Rev. Tom Catlin. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations at Bank of America under the Stacie Thomas Family Assistance Fund.
