The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 28, 2009 Jay Moore, 62, of Prescott, Ariz., born June 13, 1947, in Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Oct. 27, 2009. Private family services will take place. Private cremation is at Bradshaw Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2724 E. Larkin, Suite 9, Flagstaff, AZ 86304, or YRMC Hospice, Restricted Fund, 3262 N. Windsong Dr., Prescott Valley, AZ 86314. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements. ------------------------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, November 07, 2009 Jay Moore, 62, died Oct. 27, 2009, at his home in Prescott, Ariz. He was born June 13, 1947, in Phoenix, Ariz. Jay was an active member of the Smoki people, where he was an antelope dancer at the ceremonies. He was a member of the Porsche Club of America and of Prescott's Flat Four Fetish Volkswagen Club. Jay was a fan of all types of racing, rock 'n' roll, trips to Mexico and beer. He graduated with a B.A. in sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He worked as a mechanic. Jay said, "I have no remorse, no regrets and a few missed opportunities." He was proudest of his family and the extraordinary cars he built. Jay is survived by Mary, whom he married on Dec. 3, 1983; daughters Michelle and Suzanne; his siblings, Charlie Crehore, Lynn Bild and Robbins Kelly; and his stepfather, Charles Crehove. A gathering of friends and family will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at the Smoki Pueblo, 147 N. Arizona, Prescott. The family suggests memorials to YRMC Hospice, restricted fund, 3262 N. Windsong Dr., Prescott Valley, AZ 86314, or The American Cancer Society, 2724 E. Larkin, Suite 9, Flagstaff, AZ 86304.
