A15 Roberta Smith Swift Memorial services will be held in the spring for Roberta Smith Swift, 89, of Estes Park, Colo., who died Sept. 25 in Estes Park. She was born Aug. 9, 1920, in Longmont, Colo., to Dolph and Bertha Swift. Mrs. Swift was a native of Colorado and was married for more than 50 years to Charles P. Swift, Sr., a career Navy man who preceded her in death in 1998. The couple traveled to many parts of the world during her husband’s naval career and after they retired, including Japan, Guam, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Survivors include two sons, C. Phillip Swift, Jr., and his wife Charlene of Wickenburg, and Dolph S. Swift and his wife Cheryl of Estes Park, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions in Roberta Swift’s name can be sent to the Wickenburg Humane Society. |
