Mark Devro, 82, of Cottonwood died October 14. He was born March 31, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Ralph Burgin and Ruth Geckler.

He served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

He worked as an illustrator and was interested in art.

Mr. Devro is survived by his son Devin Devro of San Diego; daughters Amara Lee Gamester of Visalia, Calif. and Harmony Sapphire of San Diego, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
