The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, October 29, 2009 Ronald A. Glenn, 66, of Cottonwood died October 27. He was born March 3, 1943 in Berwyn, Illinois, the son of Robert V. and Doris (Travis) Glenn. He attended Princeton, Illinois schools and Southern Illinois University. He worked for J & L Steel in Illinois and was owner of the Blue Mist Motel in Florence and the Verde Drive In in Cottonwood. Mr. Glenn served as Chamber of Commerce president in Florence. A lover of sports, he coached Little League and supported Mingus High School sports. His interests were business finance and politics. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and good friend to many. His parents and a grandson, Christopher Ortiz, preceded him in death. Mr. Glenn is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sally; daughters, Tammera Rogers (Jay) of Florence, Tracey Celaya (Tom, Jr.) of Florence; Toni Glenn of Cottonwood; brother William Glenn (Carole) of Ocala, Florida; sister Roberta Johnson (Robert) of Walnut, Illinois; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private family services were held.
