The Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Sunday, October 18, 2009 Judy Ann Baca, 51, of Flagstaff died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009. She was born June 11, 1958, in Flagstaff to Juan and Rosie Garcia. She worked for the Coconino County Courthouse for many years and acquired many friendships. She enjoyed working and going for walks with her co-workers. She loved the time spent with her mom at Cliff Castle Casino and most of all loved every minute spent with her family and especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Baca is survived by her spouse, Lawrence Baca; daughters Maria (Sam) Cockerel and Anita (Louis) Lucero; five grandchildren; her mother, Rosie Garcia; sisters Dorothy Garcia, Barbara Gill, Rosalee Lozano and Jenny Garcia; brother Johnny Garcia; many nieces, nephews cousins; and her three beloved companions, Dakota, Rockie and Ohsa. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Garcia; and a nephew. An evening vigil and holy rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. Both will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, 224 S. Kendrick St. Private burial will take place at a later date.
