Neal Whitney Jr. La Rue

Neal Whitney La Rue Jr., 44, of Glendale Arizona, passed away on March 14, 2001 in Flagstaff. He was born in Austin, Texas on October 5, 1956.

He moved to Glendale with his family in 1975. He was a dedicated physics teacher in the Deer Valley School District for 19 years and active also as a boys' freshman basketball coach and club sponsor for the ERAD (Environmentally Responsible Automobile Design) Club at Deer Valley High School. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Adrienne, Brent, Talon, Taylor and Logan; stepchildren, Jaime and Kelsie Sanborn; sister, Diane Simmons; brothers, Joseph, James and Marc; father, Neal Sr. and mother; Margaret and grandmother, Ruby Mae; and 4 nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Monday, March 19, 2001 at Community Church of Joy, 21000 N. 75th Ave., Glendale, with viewing/visitation beginning at noon at the Church. Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Neal La Rue Jr. Memorial Fund to benefit his children. Donations may be made at Bank of America, 4301 W.
