| West Valley View October 27, 2004 Luis A. Mansanares, 76, of Buckeye died Oct. 18, 2004, in Phoenix. Mr. Mansanares was born June 27, 1928, in Monte Vista, Colo. A Navy veteran, he moved to Arizona in 1959 and to the Buckeye Valley in 1963. He worked as a farm worker, mechanic, welder, artist and licensed landscaping contractor. Mr. Mansanares is survived by his wife of 53 years, Victoria; two daughters, Cynthia Marie and Luanne; five sons, Louis, Paul, William, Miguel and Randall; two sisters, Marian Ortiz and Alicia Valdez; two brothers, Martin and Anthony; and eight grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 22 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Buckeye. The Rev. Charles Goraieb officiated. Interment was at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
