Friday, May 7,1943 Myrtie Hedrick, wife of John P. Hedrick, died in her home on Adams Street at 4:10 a. m., May 3, after 25 years of illness, being bed-ridden the past 3 years. Mrs Hedrick was born in Martin County, Kentucky, February 8, 1882. She met and married Mr. Hedrick in Ansted, W. Virginia in 1898. Leaving there in 1909 for Pittsburg, Kansas. They lived in Arizona since 1922. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hedrick is survived by 8 children, Julian, of Kansas City, Mo.; Goldie Loss of Chicago, Ill.; Stan of Detroit, Mich., Esther Westall of Wickenburg; twins, Carl of Detroit Mich., Muriel Rathburn of Seal Beach, Calif.; twins Lyde of Alaska and Laura Tolman of Lompoc, Cal. Funeral services were held from the Wickenburg Chapel, Wednesday, May 5, at 10 a. m. the Rev. B. J. Russell, of the Assembly of God Church, of which she was a member, officiated.
