The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 12, 2003, p.A13 Norma Jean (Danielson) Wadlow, 81, passed away Feb. 7, 2003 in Wickenburg, Ariz. She was born in Kidder County, N. D. on Sept. 18, 1921, daughter of Emmett and Clara (Taasevigen) Danielson. She never lost the pride she felt in being Norwegian, a member of the immigrant people who have made America great. Norma loved travel and meeting new people, and lived and worked in many states. At the age of 35, she met a kindred spirit, Donovan J. Wadlow, while she was at home in Tuttle, N.D. with her mother. They were married in Tuttle on Aug. 3, 1957. Their son Walter arrived in October, 1958. They lived in the state of Washington and then retired to Wickenburg in 1993. She had many interests, including buttons, furniture refinishing, and collecting things from the past. She will be remembered as a warm and caring human, a quietly devout Christian and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Norma is survived by her husband Donovan, son Walter, daughter-in-law Jane, grandsons Philip and Austin, sisters Kay Nelson and Lyla Schey, her beloved aunt, Elvina Pickering, and many nieces and nephews. Services were held on Feb. 10, 2003 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg. Pastor Randy Wahl officiated.
