West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 27, 2005 James E. “Jimmy” Ollis, 65, of Phoenix died Dec. 16, 2005. Mr. Ollis was born May 17, 1940, in Cobden, Ill. He was brought to Arizona in 1948, and he attended Buckeye schools. After serving in the Army, he worked in a Buckeye store owned by Larry Eng, and later worked as a meat cutter in Phoenix. Mr. Ollis is survived by his wife, Mary; two stepsons, Robert and Daniel Sheahart; three sisters, Shirley Sartin, Nancy Perez and Sue Beckner; and four brothers, Rodney, Bill, Richard and Larry. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at Ganley’s Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 Baseline Road in Buckeye. Interment will take place in Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Park.
