James Frank Jaramillo, 59, of Flagstaff, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009.

Mr. Jaramillo was born on Feb. 20, 1950, in Winslow. After graduating from high school, he enlisted and proudly served in the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps and the National Guard. At the time of his death, he worked in the maintenance department at Northern Arizona University.

Mr. Jaramillo is survived by his daughters, Janelle of Phoenix and Jeopardy of Flagstaff; son Jeryl of Phoenix; sisters Carmen Solis of Phoenix and Amelia Ramirez of Phoenix; brother Johnny Ortega of Winslow; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Jaramillo; and his parents.

A visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St., in Flagstaff. A funeral Mass will be Saturday, at 10 a.m., at Madre de Dios Catholic Church, 1015 Central St., in Winslow.

Interment will follow in Winslow Cemetery. Condolences may be sent directly to the family or to condolences@Lozanos-FlagstaffMortuary.com.
