Carl Lee Mosher died on Dec. 23, 2007, after a nearly yearlong struggle with the consequences of the same auto accident which had instantly claimed the life of his beloved wife of 59 years, Anne Louise Butterfield Mosher, on Jan. 13, 2007, in Santiago, Chile.

Carl was 84 years old at the time of his death. He was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Buffalo N.Y. During the 12 years that the couple resided in Prescott Valley, they continued extensive travel, which they both enjoyed immensely.

Carl was a retired hospital administrator from Philadelphia, Pa. (Presbyterian Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center), and Rochester, N.Y. (Strong Memorial Hospital), who had begun his career in health care as a nurse. Carl never retired from learning and trying new things.

He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth, and two sisters, Violet and Iva. He is survived by his brother Norman; four children, Kathleen, Rebecca, Pamela and Jeffrey.
