White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 07/17/2009 Olive Leona Rothlisberger, 92, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at her home in Eagar. Olive was born May 14, 1917, to Robert Marion Martin and Olive Leona Rogers in central Arizona. Olive was a homemaker and delivered the mail for the rural mail route to Greer. She also worked at Reeds Motel for 15 years. Olive enjoyed crocheting, crafts and gardening. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a temple worker in the Mesa Temple. She is survived by her son John (Renee) Slade of Queen Creek; daughters Myra Holliday of Eagar; Leola (Freddie) Whitman of Lovington, N.M., and Leona Rogers of Springerville; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leda Fern Johnson, son Joy Slade, brothers Abiff Martin and Marion Martin and two grandsons, John and Jessie, and great-grandson Jessie. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Eagar Stake Center with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
