The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 5 1943 Funeral services were held at A. L. Moore & Sons, Phoenix, last week for Harry James Peters who was killed in a glider trainer accident near Echeverria Field. The Rev. Hayden officiated, and students from Echeverria Field were pall bearers. Interment was made in the Double Butte Cemetery. Mr. Peters was born in Mesa, Arizona, September 10, 1918, and for a number of years was engaged in the produce trucking business. He came to Echeverria Field from Sky Harbor, Phoenix, last January, and with his wife resided in the new trailer homes, north of town. He was united in marriage to Miss June Wood, January 20, 1942 in Phoenix. In addition to his wife he survived by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. Eckart of Los Angeles. See Also: Find A Grave |
