| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Friday, January 30, 1942 DEATH TAKES CARL HAWKINS Carl Hawkins, 39 years old, died Thursday morning in the Wickenburg hospital following a serious illness suffered two weeks ago. Mr Hawkins had been in ill health the past two years. Born in Cripple Creek, Colorado, September 22, 1903, Mr Hawkins and his family came to Wickenburg to make his home about four years ago. He was an honor graduate of the University of Colorado with the class of 1925, and served as pharmacist for both drug stores here in Wickenburg. He leaves many friends here and throughout the state who will mourn his passing. In addition to his wife, Helen, he is survived by two small daughters.
