| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday January 25, 1952 FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD TODAY (FRIDAY) FOR FLORENCE CHRISTENSON, FORMER RESIDENT, WHO DIED MONDAY Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock this morning (Friday) at Wickenburg Chapel for Florence L. Christenson, former Wickenburg resident who died in Globe General Hospital Monday morning after an illness of five days. Mrs Lottie Crozier of the Christian Science Society will conduct the services and burial will follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery. LEFT HERE TWO YEARS AGO Miss Christenson and her sister, Myrtle Mae Christenson, operated Rancho de Los Ninos here in 1949 and 1950. Their parents, Mr and Mrs Guy Christenson, also lived here during those years. The family now lives in Phoenix. Miss Christenson was born in Gates, Ore., June 19, 1907. She came to Arizona with her parents in 1924. She graduated from St. Mary's school of Nursing in Tucson in 1931, and was employed as a nurse in Inspiration Hospital at Miami at the time of her death. She was a member of the Laurel Chapter of Eastern Star in Phoenix. The parents and sister, who live in Phoenix, are the only survivors. See Also: Find A Grave |
