Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Friday, December 20, 1940 FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS ANNA PARKER Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Paul Cooper of the Assembly of God church last Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Coffinger Funeral Home, for Mrs. Anna D. Parker, 83 years old, who died last Tuesday afternoon in Phoenix. Burial followed in the Wickenburg cemetery. Mrs Parker came to Arizona from Porter, Okla., ten months ago and has spent much time with her son, Ira A. Rice and family. Mr. Rice is in the employ of the Santa Fe railway, and has been stationed in Wickenburg for several years. Another son, E. A. Rice, resides in Phoenix. Rev. Cooper, along with touching and comforting words addressed to the bereaved family, read a favorite poem of Mrs Parker's. Mrs Parks sang several hymns, accompanied by Mrs William Helme at the organ.
