The Daily Courier Prescott, Arizona Lester H. Mannweiler Lester H. Mannweiler, age 93, died Aug. 9, 2005, at a local care home. He was born April 26, 1912, in Omaha, Neb., to Carl Mannweiler and Martha Schoning Mannweiler. He had been a resident of Prescott for the past 15 years. Lester served his country in the United States Navy. He is one of the last Pearl Harbor survivors. He was on the USS Tennessee in Pearl Harbor. He served for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and going on cruises with his late wife, Mildred, who preceded him in death March of 2004. He also enjoyed watching sporting events on television. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Morgan of Prescott, and brother, Norman of San Diego, Calif. Committal services will be today, Aug. 11th, at 10 a.m., at the Mountain View Cemetery.
