Rita Ann (Cosgrove) Skoglund

Rita Ann Skoglund, 90, passed away Jan. 8, 2008, at Prescott Samaritan Village in Prescott.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Mayor Jack Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, and parents Kathleen and J.J. Cosgrove.

A resident of Prescott since 2001, Rita was born in Chicago and leaves three surviving siblings. She is also survived by a son, James (Sharon) Skoglund; granddaughters Kerry Wilson and Dawn (Art) Vernon; and grandsons Jim (Cathy) Skoglund and Jack Wilson Jr.

A funeral service will take place in Chicago, Ill., with arrangements locally by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin.

Rita Ann Skoglund died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Prescott Samaritan Care Center in Prescott, Arizona. She was born January 25, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois; the daughter of James and Kathleen (Carroll) Cosgrove. Rita was 90 years old.

Rita is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth & Mayor Jack Wilson; son and his wife, James & Sharon Skoglund; grandchildren Kerry Wilson, Dawn (Art) Vernon, Jim (Cathy) Skoglund, and Jack Wilson Jr.; Great-Grandchildren Alyssa Skoglund, Annie Vernon, and Zack Vernon.

Rita is also survived by her sisters; Marguerite Cosgrove and Patricia Mainock, and brother James Joseph (Patricia) Cosgrove, all reside in the Chicago area.

She has been a resident of Prescott since 2001 and is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, and her parents, Kathleen and J.J. Cosgrove.
