------------------------------------

Colleen Ann Miles, age 54, of Prescott, Arizona, decided on November 4, 2009 to leave this world to experience new spiritual adventures. She was born on November 10, 1954 in Spokane, Washington to Micky and Lynn Miles.

Colleen graduated from Palmdale High School. She had a rewarding career as the senior bookkeeper for the Prescott Frontier Days.

She truly enjoyed the six years she spent there and all the wonderful friends she made during that time. Colleen loved to read, go to movies and garden. She loved animals of all kinds. Colleen was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend to all that had the privilege of knowing her. Many people, upon first meeting Colleen, thought her to be quiet and shy. They soon found out just how wild, crazy, and fun she could be. Colleen was full of life and treated everyone in the same manner in which she wished to be treated.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lynn & Micky Miles; sister, Sharon; brother, Robert.

She is survived by her sister, Pam Gossman; brother-in-law, Patrick Nielsen; nephew, Brady Gossman, sister, Sandi (Ken) Phillips and niece, Tammy (Ray) Phillips and their son, Blaine.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 5pm at the Freeman Bldg. of the Prescott Rodeo grounds.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Colleen Miles Memorial Fund at any National Bank of Arizona.

Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
