| Crystal Rose Funeral Home Tolleson, Arizona (March 31, 1930 - May 29, 2009) Benjamin "Chemin" D. Martinez entered into life March 31, 1930 in Belvedere, California and entered into rest May 29, 2009 with all his family present, at his home in Avondale, Arizona. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife of 52 years; Maria Jesus "Chuy" N. Martinez, 2 daughters; Carmen M. (Jose) Leon and Elsa M. (Jim) Chapa, 3 sons; Benjamin (Vivian) Martinez Jr., Manuel Antonio (Judy) Martinez, Gustavo (Mary Lou) Martinez, 12 grandchildren; Jose Luis Leon Jr., Irene L. (Ehron) VonAllen, Christina M. Leon, Vanessa M. (J.J.) Flores, Andrea G. Martinez, Tiana (George) Morfin, Ciara Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Gustavo Martinez Jr., Britney Martinez, Jessica M. Chapa and Jimmy A. Chapa Jr., 4 great grandchildren; Benjamin Jr., Christian, Isabel Morfin and J'adore Warner, and brother-in-law; Joaquin Comaduran and many nieces and nephews. Chemin was a hard worker who liked the outdoors, gardening and had a green thumb. He was a handyman who liked to tinker. He was a calm, very respectful man and who was loved by all. He was content and enjoyed a simple, happy life. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at St. Williams Catholic Church 11003 W. 3rd St., Cashion with Mass 9:00 am, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the church with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 10045 W.
