| Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Friday, November 13, 2009 Benjamin Mike Yazzie Sr., 64, of Cameron, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009. He was born to Joe M. Yazzie Sr. and Lois G. Yazzie in 1945 in Tuba City. Mr. Yazzie was raised in Bellemont. He attended Flagstaff High School and graduated in 1964. Mr. Yazzie is survived by his wife, Carol; his mother, Lois G. Yazzie; sons Randy Yazzie Sr. and Benjamin M. Yazzie Jr.; five grandsons; and siblings JoAnn Huskin, Hubert M. Yazzie, Joe M. Yazzie Jr., Thomas M. Yazzie, Evangeline S. Yazzie, Carmelita A. Goldtooth, Loretta J. Benally, Quintina L. Jim, Patricia A. Bighorse, Ambrose K. Yazzie and Sandra D. Yazzie. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints -- Cameron Branch, with viewing at 9 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. Mr. Yazzie will be buried at Flagstaff Citizens Cemetery.
