Robert A. Mogler, 76, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born Aug. 4, 1933, in Whittemore, Iowa, to Samuel and Tillie Mogler.

Robert served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. He farmed for several years and drove semi-tractors over 48 states for 38 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 108.

Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeanne of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; sons, Robert (Marcy) Kressin of Mascoutah, Ill., David (Denise) Kressin of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Diane (Ken) Johnson of Robbinsdales, Minn., Sandra (Tom) Sweeney of Manson, Iowa, and Brenda Mogler of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and 10 surviving brothers and sisters.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at Lentz Funeral Home, Algona, Iowa. There will also be a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz.
