| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 14, 1996 Cecile E. Hess of Wickenburg died Feb. 11 in Wickenburg. She was 78. Mrs. Hess was born Nov.14, 1917 in Detroit, Mich. She had lived in Arizona for 17 years coming here from California. Mrs. Hess married her husband Clark in Michigan in 1948. They moved to California in 1960, retiring to Arizona in 1979. She especially loved the Arizona desert with all its variety of cacti. Mrs. Hess, an avid painter, was a very artistic and creative person. She enjoyed her home life of friends, cooking and holiday gathering. She is survived by her husband Clark of Wickenburg; sons Wayne, Brian and Allen Hess, all of southern California; sisters Rose Donovan, Stella La Butte, Lucille Jolly, Catherine Grassi, Theo Gribb, and Josie Thomson, all of Michigan; brother Walter Krosky of Canada; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday Feb. 14 (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Frey Funeral Home Funeral Home. Fr. John Vogt will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Hess’ name to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and cremation Service handled all arrangements. |
