| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 6, 1996 Elaine Conley, of Wenden, died March 2 in Lake Havasu City. She was 86. Mrs. Conley was born Sept. 24, 1909 in Wenden. She had lived in Arizona one year, coming here from California. Mrs. Conley was raised in Wenden. She worked at her parent’s mine, the Gold Star Mine, driving the one truck back into Wickenburg. The gold Star Mine, which her parents started, is located in the Wenden area. Mrs. Conley enjoyed humor with her friends, reading, and listening to the radio and TV. She is survived by her friends Betty Robrig and Stella Lee, both of Wenden. Interment will be held in a later date in the Wenden Cemetery.
