| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 26, 1996 Oliver Weimer of San Jose, Calif., and formerly of Wickenburg, died June 17 in San Jose. He was 68. Mr. Weimer was born June 11, 1928 in Tucson. Mr. Weimer was a graduate of Wickenburg High School. He and his family moved to Wickenburg in 1938 and he graduated from WHS in 1947. Upon graduation, he eloped with his high school sweetheart, Lorraine Bratcher. In the early 1950s, after the birth of their third son, the couple moved to California. Mr. Weimer owned and operated Weimer's Welding in San Jose for many years. His wrought iron work will be seen and used in the Bay Area for many years to come. Mr. Weimer is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lorraine; three sons Karl of San Jose, Gary of Auburn, Calif., and Jeff of Everett, Wash.; a brother Clayton, of San Jose; his mother Ella Weimer Barrick of Wickenburg; brother Clayton Weimer of San Jose uncles Edwin Dillard of Wickenburg, Jack Dillard of Tucson and Cliff Dillard of Bullhead City; aunt Frances Pfeil of Wickenburg; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were June 22 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Los Gatos, Calif. |
