Dorothy Louise (Uhl) Cochran

Dorothy Louise Cochran, of Yarnell, died of Feb. 6 in Yarnell. She was 76.

She was born Dec. 7, 1919 in Poplar Bluffs, Mo. She had lived in Arizona for 12 years.

Mrs. Cochran was one of 16 children born to Lon and Pearlie Miller Uhl. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Yarnell. She was very active until she became ill. She had served as a Sunday and president of the Baptist Women’s Missions Organization for several years.

Mrs. Cochran is survived by her husband, Charles of Peeples Valley; daughter Wanda Kirby of DeSoto, Mo.; sisters Ella, Gearline, ShirIey, Betty, and Bertha; brothers Luther, Robert and Donald Gene; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Jr., five sisters and two brothers.

Services have been held at the First Southern Baptist Church in Yarnell. Pastor W.C. Kimbler officiated.

Arrangements were handled by Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home.
