Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 24, 1996 Alfred S. Teters, of Peoria and formerly of Wickenburg, died Jan. 19 in Sun City. He was 91. Mr. Teters was born Nov. 29, 1904 in Guthrie, Okla. He had lived in Ari¬zona for 30 years. Mr. Teeters’ hobby was putting together puzzles and displaying them in his window, so other residents of the retirement home where he lived could also enjoy them. Mr. Teeters moved to Wickenburg from California and lived here for 10 years before moving to Peoria. He is survived by daughters Carol Lynd of Glendale and Shirley Flynn of Oakdale, Calif.; sons Melvin of Canada and John of Rogers, Ark.; sister Shirley T. Teters; brother Eugene of Hemet, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice, in 1990. Visitation and funeral services have been held with interment in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Pastor Gary Golike officiated. Arrangements were handled by Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home.
