The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, September 18, 2006 William C. Sizemore, 83, of Prescott, Ariz., born Sept. 5, 1923, in Paris, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, in Prescott. A private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley. Arizona Ruffner Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, September 20, 2006 William "Bill" Sizemore, age 83 passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at his home in Prescott. Bill graduated from Paris (Illinois) High School in 1941. After a year in the premed program at the University of Illinois, he entered the Navy in 1943. He left the Navy in 1946 and began his fulltime acting career in 1947, when he joined the Pasadena Playhouse in California. He had more than 20 movie parts, appeared in numerous presentations on both the large and small screen, and a number of well-known commercials. Some years after his first wife died, Bill met and married his soul mate, Twyla. After 35 years of living in Southern California, he and his wife retired and moved to Prescott. Here he found a plethora of friends and spent many happy times playing golf and kibitzing with his "coffee buddies several mornings each week. He was a fun-spirited sportsman who loved to hunt and fish, never letting the BIG one getaway. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Twyla; his daughter, Melinda Perlmarii of Aetna, Calif.; sons Craig Sizemore of Hayward, Calif., and ScottSizemore of Chico, Calif.; a sister, Barbara Mortiz of Mattoon, Ill.; and eleven grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe, AZ 85382.
