Jackson (March 22, 1947 - June 26, 2005) Robert Dan Jackson, Sunrise, March 22, 1947 – Sunset June 26, 2005 Source saw getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So with arms around you a whisper came, “Come To Me” With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fall away. We could not bear to lose you, we could not ask you to stay. A golden heart stopped beating, working hands laid to rest. It broke our hearts and proved to us that you were the best. Robert leaves his wife Dee Jackson, of Flagstaff, Arizona; his mother, Mary Frances Smith of Azle, Texas, and his father Daniel Mark Jackson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Robert's early education was in Tarrant County, Texas, from elementary school through junior college. Robert achieved the rank of Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War, receiving three Purple Hearts. He traveled throughout Europe and Asia. And he gave generously to community agencies. The Jacksons lived in Sedona and Scottsdale, Arizona, and have resided in Flagstaff for the past l7 years. Robert attended Coconino Community College, Northern Arizona University as an English Major, and received a Bachelor's degree from The Ageless Wisdom University in Scottsdale, Arizona. Employment included: computer, operator and Editor for TSG Publishing Foundation, Inc., of Carefree, Arizona. Robert Jackson also authored the book, Courage Shouldered. Robert's immediate family and his in-laws will miss him and his great sense of humor. |
