Maryann Stolp (April 26, 1926 - September 10, 2007) Maryann T. Stolp, passed away September 10, 2007 at her home in Flagstaff. She was 81 years old. She was born in Chicago to Roland Grannan and Eva Michelbach Grannan, and was a member of a flagstaff pioneer family. She moved to Flagstaff in 1940, and attended Flagstaff High School. She was employed by Mountain States Telephone until she joined the United States Navy Waves in WWII. She returned to Flagstaff in 1958 with her husband and children. She was employed by Michelbach Insurance for 16 years and was a real estate broker for McCracken Realty until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of American Legion Post #3 for more than 40 years. She is survived by her son, Robert Stolp (Ginger), of Apple Valley, California, her daughter Rolene Johnston (Charles) of Flagstaff, her brother, Roland Grannan (Kay) of Camp Verde, Six Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert, her parents and a sister, Charlotte McCullough. Rosary will be recited 9:30 Saturday, morning with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. both will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 16 W. Cherry. |
