| Winterset Madisonian Winterset, Iowa July 22, 1998 ROLLIN O. SMITH, Nevada Rollin Oran Smith, 81, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Winterset, died of heart failure July 5, 1998. A memorial service was held Sunday, July 10, at Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Gant officiating. Rollin Smith was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Winterset. He married Alberta Murphy on Dec. 24, 1936. Rollin formerly farmed in the Lorimor area and had been a home builder in Tucson, Ariz., before retiring to Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Rhonda Hahn and Sheryl Grabo, both of Las Vegas; a son, Norman of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. |
