| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, November 2, 1951 EL MIRAGE MERCHANT IS FOUND DEAD HERE A man identified by Judge R. L. Westall as S. J. Shelen of El Mirage was found dead in a room of a local motel October 24. Death was apparently from natural causes, says Mr Westall. Mr Shelen, who formerly operated a department store in El Mirage registered at the motel here on the Tuesday before. It has since been determined that he was born in Germany and had no known relatives in this country. He was described as an elderly man. The body is being held in the Wickenburg Mortuary awaiting the action of his friends regarding burial. See Also: Find a Grave |
