Dale was born in Sedona, AZ., on Jan. 25, 1934, and passed away in Tucson, AZ. on Nov. 6, 2009. He has been a resident of Benson, AZ. for the past 4 ½ years.

He is survived by his loving, and devoted wife, Ruth, of 32 years. Loving step-children: Troy Barnett of Sierra Vista, Keith Barnett (Chris) of Tucson, Darryl Barnett (Jennifer) of Tucson and Deanna Foreman(Doug) of Sierra Vista; seven grandchildren; Zachary, Tori, Darren, Logan, Sabreena, Meagan and David; brothers, Gene, Leonard, Bob and sisters. Norma and Jane.

Dale served in the U.S. Army.

Upon his return from the service he learned the trade of Surveying. He retired after 30 years from the Operating Engineers Local 12 out of Southern California as a surveyor where he was a member for 45 years. One of his proudest accomplishments was being an integral part of the preparation for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, CA.

Dale was a member of the Arizona Old Time Fiddlers and the Eastern Arizona Old Time Fiddlers.

Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved camping in the White Mountains of Arizona.

Dale will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Richardson's Benson Mortuary 725 E . 4th St. Benson, AZ. Internment at Cochise Gardens of Rest.
