Areta Jeffords - Turner

Services for Areta Turner, 90, Camp Verde, Ariz., will be Thursday at Hepler Funeral Home in Camp Verde.

Mrs. Turner died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1992, at her home.

She was born Nov. 9, 1901, in Traverse City, Mich. Her first husband, "Jeff" Jeffords, died in the 1950s.

She married Everett A. Turner, in April 1959, in Arizona.

Mr. Turner was the original owner and operator of the Globe Store in southwest Douglas County. The couple lived most of their lives in Arizona, but lived several months in Douglas County in the late 1960s.

Mrs. Turner was a member of the Tucson Church of the Brethren.

Survivors include her husband, Everett, Camp Verde, Ariz.
