| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, July 25, 1941 SERVICES HELD FOR PRESCOTT EDITOR Funeral Services were conduct at 3 p. m. Thursday for Margaret Robertson Hirshfeld, managing editor of the Prescott Evening Courier, who died last Tuesday night of pneumonia. Cremation followed. Mrs Hirshfeld became ill July 12. She had been a member of the Courier news staff since 1920, serving successfully as reporter, city editor, telegraph editor and managing editor. She was one of the few women in the nation directly in charge of the news department of a daily newspaper. Mrs. Hirshfeld is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ross Robertson of Prescott; a daughter, Mrs. John R. V. Dickson of Tucson and a son, Ross Hirshfeld, assistant executive officer in the U.
