Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, Sept 15, 1950 JUAN S. OLEA, 75, DIES IN PHOENIX Funeral services were held in Phoenix Monday for Juan S. Olea of Beardsley, well known in Wickenburg. Death came last Friday in Phoenix. Mr. Olea was a cattle rancher in Yavapai County for 45 years and spent much of that time at Hillside, visiting Wickenburg often and in turn expecting his Wickenburg friends to visit him as they passed through Hillside. He was born in Santa Anita, Calif., 75 years ago and came to Arizona when he was only five years old. His family settled first at Signal, Ariz. Four years ago he moved to Beardsley where he operated a ranch with his son, Laurie. Surviving are the widow and three children: Leila Brashorn of Hollywood; Ted Olea of Crown King, Ariz.; and Laurie Olea of Beardsley. He also leaves one sister and two brothers.
