Frankie A. Courter, died peacefully at home on December 13, 2000. Frankie will be missed by many people including her daughter and son-in-law, Jeff and Gina Orr and her three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Vangie and Daniel. Frankie was born in Deming, New Mexico in 1936, but has lived in Arizona since age 5. She grew up in Douglas, AZ and has lived in Phoenix for many years. She retired several years ago after working for Motorola for 30 years. She had been volunteering at an adult learning center teaching English to speakers of other languages. She has a wide circle of friends and her optimistic attitude and great love for people will be truly missed. We all love and miss you. A memorial service was held Tuesday, December 19, 2000, at Messinger Indian School Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ.
