Della Allred November 16, 2009 An angel, Della Allred, was called home on November 16, 2009 to her Father in Heaven, where her beloved husband Lawrence, her parents Leroy & Jennie Johnson, her siblings Afton, Lloyd & Dean waited with open arms to greet her. While the heavens weep with joy, those left behind weep with sorrow as she will be greatly missed. Della was born in Blanding, Utah on June 15, 1918. She lived her life in Blanding & Monticello, Utah and in Virden, New Mexico, Morenci, Duncan and Thatcher, Arizona. Her last few weeks were spent in Mesa, Arizona. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was active until her health wouldn't permit it. She held many positions in the Children's Primary where she loved and served them. Della's family was her life. She was without her husband Lawrence for 39 years, who passed away in 1970. Della is survived by her children- Geri (Blaine) Steele of Mesa, AZ, Lorna (Jim) Hansen of Tooele, UT, Albert (Yvonne) Allred of Elephant Butte, NM, Judy (David) Somerville of Layton, UT, Karen (Jim) Morris of Morenci, AZ, Larry (Bee-bee) Allred of Thatcher, AZ, 18 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 11 a.m. with viewing one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery.
