Services and burial for Benjamin Beiser, 88, whose 23-year career in Phoenix included building an apartment house on N. Third Street, were held Sunday in New York City. Mr. Beiser, 3735 E. Earll Drive, was killed Feb. 22 [1970] in an auto-pedestrian accident at Thomas and 38th Street. Born in Poland, he came here from New York. He had been affiliated with McCoy's Motor Court on W. Van Buren and was a member of Workman's Circle. Survivors include two sons, Louis and Herman, and a daughter, Mrs. Rose Lefkowitz, all of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Yetta Lesensky of Phoenix; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
