Phyllis (Iorns) Pooler

Mrs. Phyllis I. Pooler, 47, a member of the board of the Arizona Council of Girl Scouts and a troop leader of seven years, died Monday [March 2, 1970] in Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Pooler, of 1935 E. San Miguel, was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. Born in Seattle, she moved to Phoenix in 1951 from Fresno, California.

Survivors include her husband, Max A., Jr., and two daughters, Sally and Nancy Pooler, all of Phoenix; her father, Russell D. Iorns; and a brother, Burt, both of Seattle, Wash.

Services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow in Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
