Lawrence Thayer Lost Life In Car Accident

Mrs. H. B. THAYER of Wickenburg was informed Wednesday of the death, Tuesday afternoon, of her son, Lawrence which followed an automobile accident near Lodi, Calif.

Lawrence had lived here until several months ago.

Mrs. Thayer is employed at the Signal Cafe. The Thayers were residents of Morristown until the passing of Mr. Thayer some time ago.

The body of Lawrence Thayer will be brought here for burial.

Rites Today For Lawrence Thayer

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. today (Friday) at the Wickenburg Chapel for Lawrence H. THAYER, son of Mrs. Flora M. THAYER of Wickenburg, who lost his life in a highway accident near Lodi, Calif., November 2.

Rev Carl ADAMS of the Foursquare Chapel will conduct the services and burial will be in Wickenburg Cemetery, beside his father, the late H. B. THAYER, who passed away August 2, 1954.

Native Arizonan -

Lawrence Thayer was born in Phoenix March 1, 1928, and spent most of his boyhood in that city and in Morristown.

He served three years in the Navy and a similar period in the Air Force.

In the accident which claimed his life, Mr. Thayer was a passenger in a car which turned out to pass another car and collided head-on with an approaching truck.

Surviving are his mother and a brother, Charles L. of Morristown.
