Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, December 7, 1951 RITES HELD FOR MRS JOE ORTEGA Funeral services with high mass were held Wednesday morning in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Phoenix for Mrs Aristea M. Ortega, 70, who died Sunday in her home in that city. She was the wife of Joe Ortega, pioneer resident of this area, and the mother of Ben Ortega of the Hassayampa Barber Shop. Mrs Ortega was born in Tucson, moved to Glendale as an infant and remained there until seven years ago when she moved to Phoenix.. THE SURVIVORS Survivors, in addition to the husband and son Ben, include three daughters: Mrs Elmer E. Glasner of El Mirage, Mrs Dora Quihuis of Eloy, and Mrs Alduvina Zuniga of Glendale; a son, Joseph V., Jr., of Phoenix; a sister, Mercer Montano of Glendale; two brothers, Filberto Montano of Glendale, and Andrew Montano of Stockton, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.
