Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, May 2, 1941 FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS LOUISA HARPER Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Mrs Louisa Harper who passed away in Los Angeles Sunday morning following an automobile accident, in which another woman was also instantly killed, and a man critically injured. The trio was hit by a motorist as they were returning home from a dance, it was stated. Father Williams officiated at the services, following which interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery. Many relatives arrived here from distant cities during the week to attend the funeral. Mrs Harper was 29 years old, had lived in Wickenburg all her life where she attended the public schools. About one year ago she moved to Los Angeles to make her home, but had come back to Wickenburg on a visit only last week end. In addition to her parents, Mr and Mrs Pete Garcia, she is survived by a sister, Dickie, and four brothers, Pete, Bill, Fred and Gus. See Also: Find A Grave |
