Kelly W. Brown, 53, and his wife Susan K. Brown, 53, of Gilbert, Arizona, were called by their Savior on December 23, 2002.

Kelly and Sue were doing what they loved to do, flying their helicopter.

Kelly was born April 9, 1949 in Warsaw, Indiana and Susan was born December 2, 1949 in Pierce, Nebraska.

Kelly was always interested in Real Estate and Home Building. Sue was formerly employed by Swagel and Wootton Eye Center for 22 years. After marrying Kelly in 1993, Sue joined him in his business, First Arizona Mortgage, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Their lives were filled with joy and happiness each and every day, by family, friends and neighbors. They were very creative, giving, and full of life. They loved to entertain and travel to new places.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Merrill M. Brown and brother, William M. Brown. Kelly is survived by two sisters, Jackie (Marvin) King and Rebecca Johnson, mother, Millie (Allen) Shively, four children; Robert, Ryan, Mindy and Kristen, and six grandchildren.

Susan is survived by parents Leo and Marjorie Synovec, daughter, Camille (John) Hagemann, three sisters; Judy, Peggy and Jan, and two grandchildren. Kelly & Sue were great friends to many and the backbone of their families. They will be greatly missed by all. There will be a very large, empty spot in all of our lives.

Services will be Thursday, January 2, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeshore Mortuary Chapel, 1815 S. Dobson Rd. in Mesa, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, family wishes that donations be made to your favorite charity in Kelly and Susan's memory.
