The Casa Grande Dispatch, Casa Grande, Arizona Wednesday, November 07, 2001 ARIZONA CITY - Helen M. Dittbenner, 74, of Arizona City died Nov. 2, 2001 in Casa Grande. Burial will be in Belvidere, Ill. Mrs. Dittbenner was born Feb. 20, 1927 in Belvidere, the last of three children of Everett B. and Alice (Moore) Albright. She worked in furniture sales before retiring in 1988 and moved to Arizona City 13 years ago. She was known for her sense of humor and was outgoing, fun loving and strong willed. She liked to dance and listen to country music. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch, knitting, crafts and needlepoint. She was involved with Veterans of Foreign Wars, Women of the Moose and a women's society and was an avid John Wayne fan. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Duane A.; a daughter, Susan Jeanblanc of Surprise, Az.; a son, David Dittbenner of White Bear Township, Minn.; and four grandchildren. Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel is in charge of local arrangements. |
