Dewey J. King, 90, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., went to be with our Heavenly Father on Jan. 12, 2008, in Prescott, Ariz.

Dewey was born on Jan. 28, 1917, in Wessington Springs, S.D. He married Ethel McKinney in Wagner, S.D., on Aug. 21, 1940. This was a loving and lasting marriage that endured 67 years. To this union seven children were born: Bethel, Lenard, Roger, Rosetta, Janet, Bonnie and Louise.

Dewey was preceded in death by his sons Lenard and Roger. He is survived by his wife, friend and caregiver, Ethel; his daughters, Bethel of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Rosetta of Ephrata, Wash., Janet of Chino Valley, Ariz., Bonnie of Ravens-dale, Wash., and Louise of Chino Valley, Ariz.; his loving sons-inlaw.

Visitation for Dewey will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at Sunrise Funeral Home, with services in honor of Dewey following at 1 p.m. at the Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey, Ariz.
