A Memorial Service For Anita Roth Conrad, 82, of Scottsdale, Ariz., and a Gibson City, Illinois, native, was Oct. 12, 1991 at the Valley Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale. Mrs. Conrad died Oct. 6, 1991, at the home of her daughter, Vernita Winikka, in Phoenix. She was born May 19, 1909, in Gibson City, a daughter of D.K. and Leanna Roth. She married Vernon Conrad June 21, 1930. He died in December 1982. Surviving are four children, Vernita Winikka, Phoenix; James, Oakton, Va.; Larry, Scottsdale; and Dr. J.D. Conrad, Medford, Ore.; a brother, Waldo, Golden Beach, Fla.; a sister, Helen Francis, Gibson City; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A brother and two sisters preceded her in death. She lived in Gibson City and Pontiac, Ill. for many years before moving to Arizona.
