John Lafayette Sipe, 66, of Chandler, Ariz., died Oct. 17, 1991, at Veterans Medical Center in Phoenix. Funeral was Sunday, Oct. 20, 1991 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chandler, where he was a member. Burial in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Bueler Funeral Home of Chandler is in charge. Mr. Sipe, a native of Mount Holly, was a new homes salesman. He was a World War II and Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Oasis Shrine Club. Survivors are his wife, Ada of Chandler; sons, John Sipe Jr. of Chandler, John Sipe Jr. of Brunswick, Ga., Luke Sipe of Chandler; daughters, Ms. Regina Toomey of Phoenix, Ms. Ruth Ann Grier of Chandler, Ms. Michelle Ashley; sisters, Ms. Judy Hefner, Ms. Jean Propst, Ms. Barbara Townsend, Ms. Ruby Lafone, all of Hickory; brothers, Danny Sipe of Hickory, Richard Sipe; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 739 W. Erie St., Chandler, Ariz. 85224. Published October 19, 1991 |
